As I ride on my horse through the countryside,

I said Lady L let me give you a ride,

But as I pulled the reigns of that horse she pulled the reigns of her soul.

It must be the hot weather, because as soon as ladies start wearing low cut tops and short-shorts everyone wants to tell them to start covering up. I swear, if I hear one more person tell a girl to “have some self respect” because she’s showing too much thigh or cleavage I’m going to scream. What does clothing have to do with self respect? Why can’t I love my body and respect myself at the same time? Why are you so offended by skin? And don’t you fucking tell me it’s because society would perceive it as slutty. I don’t fucking care if society is offended by my boobs. It’s ninety degrees out and my school doesn’t have air conditioning. Some may say “No one wants to see that.” Well it’s a good thing I’m not dressing up for other people then isn’t it?
You can call me a slut for posting this. You can look at my past and the clothing I wear and judge me based on outdated social standards and act like you’re not a human with genitalia all you want, but the next time you feel like telling me to get some self respect you can save your breath because I’ve already got plenty, thank you very much.
